Diane Ferguson Counseling Student Intern

Diane Ferguson is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling practicum student currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Troy University. She is passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate emotional challenges, life transitions, relationships, and personal growth.

Diane’s counseling approach integrates mindfulness practices, somatic techniques, and emotional regulation strategies to help clients develop self-awareness, resilience, and healthier coping skills. She has completed Level 1 training through the Gottman Institute as well as training in Managing Emotional States Effectively (MESE).

She strives to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered throughout the counseling process. Diane is committed to helping clients strengthen emotional wellness, improve relationships, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.
